Fiona and Neil wanted a bespoke shelf to go above their cooker as well as a farmhouse style dining table and matching bench. They specified the size, chose a stain and finish from samples I gave them and picked a colour they liked for the base.
A bespoke piece of furniture may seem like a big expense but when you take into account how much longer it will last compared to IKEA furniture and that you have the option to paint/stain it yourself, it suddenly becomes affordable and very good value.
The pine tops were made from reclaimed wood from The Wood Store - Brighton & Hove Wood Recycling Project.
